OUR CARE
Psychiatry
Our psychiatrists are medical doctors who diagnose mental health conditions and, where needed, prescribe and monitor medication. They work alongside Softmind psychologists, so medication and therapy form one plan.

How it works at Softmind
Your first appointment is a detailed assessment of your symptoms, history and circumstances. The psychiatrist explains the diagnosis and treatment options, including whether medication is needed. For mild and moderate problems, therapy alone is often enough; for more severe difficulties, your psychologist may refer you to a psychiatrist.
